Distinguish three different prices
A brand’s retail price concerns a new item in a particular market. A pre-owned asking price is a seller’s current offer. A completed transaction price concerns an actual completed sale. Do not combine these as if they were the same indicator.
A useful reference records date, currency, source and exact version. Without comparable evidence, there is no reliable universal price range for an entire brand.
Control the comparison conditions
Compare the same model and size, then separate materials, colours and versions where relevant. Record visible defects, repairs, colour treatment and missing accessories.
Include seller location, delivery charges, taxes where applicable, inspection arrangements and return terms. A lower asking price does not necessarily mean a lower total cost or establish authenticity.
Do not convert condition labels into a fixed discount
Different grading rules can produce different labels. Request defect locations and current photographs instead of treating 98% condition as a fixed discount from 99%.
A final quotation must correspond to an actual item that can be offered. When only series-reference images are available, first identify preferences and acceptable wear, then obtain the item details; do not treat a reference catalogue as instant stock.
Send one complete enquiry
Specify the brand, series, size and preferred colour; say what wear you accept, which accessories you require, your total budget and delivery region. Request current item photographs and available alternatives.
Ask for the currency, item price, included and excluded costs, quotation validity and delivery arrangements. Confirm the terms before ordering. Reference images do not guarantee authenticity, availability or the final price.
This buying guide is not an authentication result or a stock or price guarantee. Verify the actual item and service terms before purchasing.
